Meet the 8 Finalists Pitching at Seedstars Kathmandu
On October 23rd, Nepal’s best seed stage startups will compete to represent the country at the Global Seedstars Summit and win up to USD 1 million in equity investments.
Seedstars World, the global seed-stage startup competition for emerging markets and fast-growing startup scenes has brought its pre-selection round to an end and selected 8 promising tech startups to pitch at the Seedstars Kathmandu pitching event on October 23rd at 1pm at the Shanker Hotel.
Nepal was previously represented by VisualiseVR, an innovative approach to provide Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality solution to businesses.
The top startups selected to advance to the pitching event are:

Gharbheti: a real estate platform for matching tenants and property owners.

HoneyGuide: helps trekkers pay less and see more through direct and customized bookings.

Krishi Ghar: an agtech solution that analyzes information and weather patterns for farmers.

NepXpress: connects ecommerce businesses with their customers and provides optimized routes and high end logistics software.

Product with Story: a platform to connect entrepreneurs to broader audiences and leverage their stories to market their self-made goods.

Sajilo: a one stop digital market for customers and technicians to seek and offer services.

SochWare: an IoT solution to monitor farmland automatically via a farmer’s mobile phone

Tootle: a ride sharing platform for two-wheelers.
The startups will pitch in front of a jury that consists of Asgar Ali from Fonepay, Rabindra Shrestha from Prestellar Ventures, Siddhant Raj Pandey from Business Oxygen, Himesh Dhungel from Millennium Challenge Corporation, and Rosie Keller from Seedstars.
In order to deliver the best possible event and to provide local entrepreneurs with this opportunity, Seedstars is working closely with the UNDP as their main partner to present Wai Wai Seedstars Kathmandu 2017.
