Meet the Most Promising Early-Stage Tech Startup who Won Seedstars Jakarta
Seedstars World, the global seed-stage startup competition for emerging markets and fast-growing startup scenes brought its Indonesia round to a successful close during Seedstars Jakarta. The event took place on Saturday at Menara by Kibar, and eight selected startups were invited to present their ideas in front of the local jury panel.

Sayurbox will be participating at the both the Seedstars Asia Regional Summit in Bangkok in November, and the Seedstars Global Summit, taking place in Switzerland in April 2018. The Global Summit is a weeklong training program with the opportunity to meet the other 75 local winners, as well as investors and mentors from around the world. Traditionally, the final day of the Summit will be dedicated to pitching in front of audience of 1000 attendees, with the possibility of winning up to the USD 1 million equity investments.
Indonesia was represented at last year's Seedstars Summit by Kostoom a mobile application that helps fashion entrepreneurs and fashion designers to create their products by empowering local tailors.
Shipper,an integrated logistic aggregator platform that provides pricing comparison and shipping order generation to logistic companies came in second place. Ayoslide, an Android Lock Screen ads with Real Prizes for users rounded out the top three. The other startups who, out of over 120 applications, were invited to pitch were Asura.co.id, DuitTurbo, PopLegal Indonesia, PT Lacak Cipta Aktual, and Vestifarm.
The eight startups pitched in front of a prestigious jury consisting of Venkat Narayan from Aavishkaar, David Soukhasing from Angel Investment Network Indonesia, Raditya Pramana from Venturra Capital, Thomas Diong formerly from Sale Stock, Aulia Masna from Kibar, and Michael Weber from Seedstars.
The local Ambassador for Indonesia at Seedstars World, Octa Ramayana, organized the event with Seedstars World’s main organizing partner Kibar. Further crucial support was provided by Angel Investment Network Indonesia, Gaharu Activation and Kulina. Recap.Id and the DailySocial were media partners for the event.
Continuing on its world tour of startup scenes in emerging markets and fast-growing startup scenes, Seedstars World’s next stop is Dhaka at GP- House, to select the most promising startup in Bangladesh.
