Meet the Most Promising Startups from Indonesia that will Compete to be Crowned Indonesia’s Most Promising Tech Startup During Seedstars Jakarta

On September 16th, 8 of Indonesia’s most promising seed stage startups will compete to represent the country at the Regional and Global Seedstars Summits, and to win up to USD 1 million in equity investments.

September 12th, 2017 - Seedstars World, the global seed-stage startup competition for emerging markets and fast-growing startup scenes has brought its pre-selection rounds to an end and selected 8 promising tech startups to pitch at the Seedstars Jakarta pitching event on September 16th at 2pm in Menara by KIBAR.

Indonesia was previously represented by Kostoom, a mobile application that helps fashion entrepreneurs create products while simultaneously empowering local tailors.

 

The top startups selected to advance to the pitching event are:

  • Asura: is a platform that allows customers and businesses to get insurance coverage and manage their active policies.

  • Ayoslide: is an Android Lock Screen ad service with real prizes for winners.

  • DuitTurbo: processes thousands of data points from customers’ phones to very quickly predict their creditworthiness and channel smaller loans to them.

  • Lacak Cipta Aktual: provides fleet and asset management monitoring solutions to both traditional and tech-based logistics companies.

  • PopLegal an online platform for legal document creation and company incorporation.  

  • Sayurbox is a tech-supported fresh produce distribution platform sourcing directly from producers and delivering to customers.

  • Shipper: is an integrated logistic aggregator platform that provides pricing comparison and shipping order generation to logistic companies.

  • Vestifarm is an agriculture investment platform that helps anyone to invest easily and affordably to local farmers.

The startups will pitch in front of a jury that consists of Venkat Narayan from Aavishkaar, Thomas Diong formerly from Sale Stock, David Soukhasing, Raditya Pramana from Venturra Capital, Aulia Masna from KIBAR, and Michael Weber from Seedstars.

In order to deliver the best possible event and to provide local entrepreneurs with this opportunity, Seedstars is working closely with their co-organizing partner KIBAR Further essential support is provided by the Angel Investor Network Indonesia and Gaharu Activation, with Kulina supporting the event as the F&B Partner.
